the texturing on this is so cool?? how did you do it, was it a pattern you drew and then sort of 'cut out' to make the shapes, or something else entirely? either way this rocks

Thank ya kindly! Mainly all the shapes I did free hand and then just filled with a solid color, then did area select on the space and used some painter brushes I had, gave a nice bark look and also rocky texture.
